1) What is Digital Up?

Digital Up is a training incentive to encourage the Malaysian workforce to reskill/upskill via digital tech courses offered in various focus areas.

2) What are Digital Up’s benefits for the participants /trainees?

Digital Up offers training subsidies to eligible Malaysia’s existing workforce

3) Who is eligible for this incentive?

For participants/trainees:

• Malaysian citizens.
• Age from 21 – 55 years old.
• Currently employed, unemployed, fresh graduate, or gig workers.
• Meet the selected training prerequisites.
• Must not be MDEC’s staff/board directors or employees.

4) Do the applicants/trainees need to pay for the training?

Applicants/trainees are required to pay RM500, while the rest of the training fee are sponsored by us.

5) Are certificates provided upon completion of training?

Yes. A certificate of completion will be provided by the training provider.

6) What are the documents required for the application?

• Identification Card copy

7) Can I apply for more than 1 course under the Digital Up programme?

• No, each participant is only applicable to apply for 1 course only and no changes can be made after the application has been approved.
