Google IT Support Professional Certificate 

IT Specialists troubleshoot problems, so computers and networks run correctly.

Throughout the 5 courses, you’ll learn in-demand skills that prepare you for an entry-level job in IT support. You’ll hear from Google employees whose foundations in IT support, served as launchpads for their own careers. By dedicating under 10 hours per week, you can complete the certificate in less than 6 months.  

This certificate also prepares you for the CompTIA A+ exams, the industry standard certification for IT.  

This certificate includes over 100 hours of instruction and hundreds of practice-based assessments, which will help you simulate real-world IT support scenarios that are critical for success in the workplace. The content is highly interactive and exclusively developed by Google employees with decades of experience in IT. 

Through a mix of videos, assessments, and hands-on labs, you’ll be introduced to troubleshooting, customer service, networking, operating systems, system administration, and security — foundational IT skills required for an entry-level job 

Key competencies that will be gained: 

  • Understanding of core IT support concepts, e.g, troubleshooting, customer service, networking, system admin, operating systems, security  
  • Knowledge of how to assemble a computer, write effective support documentation, route paths and subnets, device software management, etc.  
  • Ability to work with Linux, Cloud Computing and Command-Line Interfaces
